In-between Marks is a collaboration between Gabriella Rhodes and Katrina Wilde. It takes Throughout the session, participants are guided by gentle instruction and sounds from a live musician, and through mark making, each respond intuitively to the sounds and feelings they are embodying. The focus is on process rather than a final outcome; inviting participants to be present in the moment, they create an open, relaxed environment to explore presence through drawing.
Gabriella & Katrina have done two iterations of In-between Marks; the first at Katrina’s exhibition ‘Spaces’ at EN Gallery (Stoke-on-Trent), and the second at Gabriella’s exhibition ‘Clay in Residence’ at AIR Gallery (Manchester).
The workshop wouldn’t be whole without live music and they’ve had the fortune of working with two talented musicians, Leo Robinson & Tim Monaghan.
