The Portland Inn Project

Stoke-on-Trent. 2020-present.

The Portland Inn Project CIC is a creative arts project for a community in Stoke On Trent with an aim to achieve community cohesion, economic, social and cultural development by involving the community in development of a pioneering community space, cultural hub and social enterprise.

Katrina has worked with the Portland Inn Project to deliver foraging, natural dyeing and screen printing workshops over the last year. Together, they explore the green space around the PIP Inn, identifying local plants and wildlife, working with some of the plants for colour, and drawing from the landscape to create artwork to screen print with.
